The non-school based FCA ministries reach the community through partnerships with the local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers. These ministries not only reach out to the community, but also allow the community to invest in athletes and coaches.

Community Ministries include: Stewardship Ministries, Adult Ministries, Sport-Specific Ministries, Membership, Global Sports Development, Clinics, Product and Resource Development, and Professional Athlete Ministries.

To start a FCA community ministry please contact the local office at (804) 221-1291.

FCA is for adults too?

The Adult Huddle is to the Campus Huddle what the Booster and Alumni Clubs are to their athletic programs. Huddles are made up of coaches, teachers and school administrators, pastors, people from the business community, moms, dads, and others who come together around the common bond of Jesus Christ.

The purpose of an FCA Adult Huddle is:

"To provide adult fellowship and spiritual growth while implementing FCA's purpose and programs in a defined geographic location."

This purpose can be achieved by:

  • Providing FCA Camp scholarship support for area athletes and coaches.
  • Providing encouragement to area coaches.
  • Initiating and supporting local Huddles.
  • Providing encouragement to the adult community through outreach.
  • Providing resources to Huddles (people, tapes, books, Bible studies).
  • Providing ministry programs: rallies, cookouts, retreats, etc.
  • Providing funding for the local FCA Office.

Join us for breakfast the 2nd Saturday of the month at
Joe's Inn in Bon Air at 8:30am!

Matt Stover, Baltimore Ravens Kicker
Too many of today’s athletes are just out for themselves. I see it in the National Football League, and I am sure that you see it in your sport and league. Selfishness is rampant. Players make their sport their god. I know, because there was a time when I did it, too.
